Redback
A 4500D
The Redback 7 Day School Timer with Evac Tone Generator (4500D) combines a weekly timer and evacuation controller in a compact 1RU rack mount chassis. It offers a total of 50 event switching times, with each event configurable from 1 second to 24 hours. When an event is triggered, an MP3 audio file plays from one of 99 folders on the included micro SD card, featuring bell, pre-bell, music, and additional folders (5-99). If a folder contains multiple MP3 files, they will play randomly. Events can be programmed directly on the unit or via the included PC software.
The evacuation controller meets industry standard building emergency alert and evacuation requirements. When connected to a paging system amplifier, it can alert and evacuate building occupants during emergencies such as fires, gas leaks, bomb scares, or earthquakes. The unit supports connection to the A4660 paging console for emergency paging and remote activation of alert/evac and chime functions. Remote activation is also possible through wall plates wired to the controller using Cat5 UTP cabling.
Timer and bell times can be managed remotely over a local area network (LAN) or virtual private network (VPN) using the A 4498 Ethernet adaptor pack, ensuring easy and efficient control.
