Signal Processors

Signal processors are electronics that allow greater control of the sound than available on a mixer. These units include: Equalisers - either graphic or parametric, Compressors & Limiters, Noise gates, Expanders, De-esses, Delay & Reverb units, Cross-overs, Feedback eliminators, Dynamics processors. Many devices on the market now can include several of these features in one component. Some feature the ability to be programmed and store memories. Some units may be remotely controlled via RS232, midi or similar.
