Mixers

Mixers are the method of combining multiple audio signals, controlling individual tonal qualities and routing signals to various outputs and creating the actual sound that is then heard from the speaker system. They come in various types, being console or desk style, box or rack-mount style, and some mixers incorporate power amplifiers and are usually regarded as powered mixers.
