Redback® Lockdown Controller
This lockdown controller is primarily aimed at schools which require a lockdown warning facility. The controller has provision for a period bell plus a standby, lockdown and all clear tones.
These can be activated by the switches on the front panel, by the remote closing contact triggers on the rear of the unit or by the optional wall plate (A 4598) or paging console (A 4596).
The Period Bell Feature requires an additional event timer (see A1708 below)

A pre bell/chime/tone is also included which can only be triggered by the closing contact on the rear of the unit. All tones are stored on an SD card in MP3 format. Using MP3 files gives the user complete control over the sounds played for each tone. This could be music, a pre-recorded tone or speech etc. The standby and lockdown tones can also be set to loop/repeat via external DIP switches. The order of priority from highest to lowest is all clear, lockdown, standby, bell and pre-bell. If the period bell is activated the period bell switch on the front of the unit will illuminate until the tone finishes. If the standby or lockdown tone is activated, the corresponding switch on the front of the unit will illuminate until the tone finishes. After this, the switch will continue to illuminate until the lockdown overrides the standby condition or the all clear condition is activated. If the all clear tone is activated the all clear switch will illuminate until the tone finishes.
A standard line level output is provided for connection to the schools PA system.

Remote Lockdown Wallplate
The remote wall plates provide the same functionality as the buttons on the front of the A 4595. All switches have safety covers to prevent accidental triggering.
If a tone is triggered by the main unit or a paging console the corresponding switch on the wall plate will illuminate.
Connection is made via Cat5e cable with a maximum range of 300m and up to 4 wall plates can be cascaded together.

Paging Console With Lockdown Control
The paging consoles provide the same functionality as the buttons on the front of the A 4595. If a tone is triggered by the main unit or a wall plate the corresponding LED on the paging console will illuminate.
A paging microphone allows the user to speak over the tone being played. Connection is made via Cat5e cable with a maximum range of 300m and up to 2 paging consoles can be cascaded together.

A versatile timer which has four switched 24V outputs and four closing contacts which activate simultaneously. It permits a total of 50 event switching times.
Each can be set to turn on any single day of the week or on multiple days for up to 24 hours. Switching events programmed for multiple days count as only a single station and each of the 50 event times may be set to any (but not multiple) output. Manual override is provided.

Single Output 50 Event Yearly School Timer
Program the whole school year ahead of time! Easy to use software allows the installer or end user to program in school term dates, student free days, public holidays, day light savings for the entire year. Can be configured for either weekly or fortnightly time tables and interfaces with the school PA system. The software allows easy copying of days, weeks or fortnights, eliminating tedious repetitious programming. The program is uploaded to the unit via SD card. 50 timing events per day are allowable. Each timing event can be assigned an MP3 music, tone or voice over file. When the event occurs, the appropriate MP3 is played through the connected PA system. This allows for ‘pre-bell’ music to be played prior to the main bell ringing. A library of tones is included on the SD card. Custom tones or music can be added as required. The LCD indicates upcoming events. A single dual RCA audio output and a closing set of voltage free contacts are provided. Includes program isolate function. Model: A 4510.

ARM-911A Automated Remote Messaging Unit
Automated Remote Messaging (ARM) unit, 10 emergency voice messages supplied via SD card for emergency announcements, built-in event scheduler or clock with a separate RAM for timed messages, school bells or automated announcements etc.,
4 remote mic stations can be attached, 2 AUX Mic/Line inputs and phone system input. Easy to use GUI for configuration.
Each input is fitted with volume controls and equalisers. All audio inputs features either contact and VOX activation (ideal when using the cordless microphone, or receiving audio from other emergency messaging devices such as fire alarm panels) Ten monitored contact closure or alarm inputs making it possible to obtain trigger pre-programmed message from any remote devices.
The ARM-911 responds to public address requirements and Voice Alarm for small to medium installations. This unit is an ideal add on to any PA system and useful to easily initiate code blue paging or lockdown procedures. The ARM-911 is designed to be used ‘Stand-Alone’ or in conjunction with other devices such as Fire and Intruder alarm panels.
